Ladybug Counting Small Group Math Activity
The children enjoyed counting and placing spots on the ladybug. They also helped their friends by joining in and helping them to count.

Fine Motor Activities
The children enjoyed these fine motor activities using rice to pour and scoop. They also enjoyed attaching the clothes pins to the bins.
Ladybug Art
This past week May 6-10th the children discussed and learned about "Ladybugs". Using red and black paint the children created their own ladybug images. They had fun mixing colors and making spots using their paintbrushes.

Drawing Under the Table
While learning all about bugs the children learned how bugs crawl under and over. So to make things interesting the children enjoyed drawing under the table with friends.
Play dough Bug Sculptures
Play dough! The children LOVE play dough. The children created bug sculptures using play dough, pipe cleaners and pom poms. They were excited to start creating to see the end result.
